This prick shuld be prosecuted
Study tying vaccine to autism was fraud, report says
Andrew Wakefield, colleagues altered facts about patients in their research, analysis shows http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/40930256...mental_health/ If one un-vaccinated child dies, this prick should be charged with murder.

One of many examples of how repeating a lie, enough times, makes people believe it's true.
Additionally, the original study linked the mercury (thimerosal), that is used in some vaccines, as the cause of Autism. Not all of these vaccines use thimerosal. In fact, in Canada, the MMR vaccine hasn't contained it since 1997. Will this finally slap a muzzle on Jenny McCarthy? I doubt it.

Just watched an old episode of Penn and Teller's Bullshit! that talked about this report being bogus... apparently, this is really old news. Nice to see it reported 10+ years after the fact...

This kind of research typically uses "double-blind" methodology to try and prevent bias from affecting the results. I tend to think the scientific community should institute a new version of that where those conducting the research don't know who is actually paying for the research. Ignoring that large checks create a bias of their own is pretty naive. http://www.cnn.com/2011/HEALTH/01/06...ex.html?hpt=T2 |

This is the first time that the word FRAUD has been used, with respect to the study. The methodology has already been called into question, as has the fact that larger statistical samples did not reflect his premise.

This guy is scum and should be dealt with. I don't really know what if anything can be done to him other than to pull his medical license, which I think has already been done but he should have to pay for his dishonesty.
Now with Jenny McCarthy...what has she done that is so bad ? She has a son with Autism right ? I haven't really listened to much she has said...she's more of something that should be seen and not heard right ? |
