I almost died...
I swear...
Saturday - big wedding & crazy party Sun - dry weird cough, thought maybe just from screaming and smoking cigars the night before. Mon - fever, crazy cough, could barely talk I was coughin so much, and every cough was so hard I would almost puke. tues - I woke up 65% dead. fever, cough, snot, flem, could barely stand. Only stayed awake for about 3 hours the entire day. Could barely move anywhere. Just slept meds slept meds slept meds slept meds Wed - woke up a different man. WOW. Could function again. Trying to catch up on my interwebz. I'm guessing a bad bout of the flu. It's going around boys and girls... And NO I didn't get a flu shot, never have, never will. And NO it wouldn't have helped. Last week a wife's co-worker's husband got his flu shot and was the same sick as me the next day. So this isn't that debate... be careful out there. And with my new life I turn over a new leaf. I will not tease mud as much and instead concentrate more on bob. That is all for now. |

Yeh i get a sickness like that once or twice a year. A 50-50 mix of of crushed tylenol and coke ingested nasally does wonders to get me out of bed, but sleep really is the only true way to get rid of it

I didn't drink that much for it to be alcohol.

Definitely sounds like the flu, how quickly you got it and how quickly the major symptoms went away. Are your muscles still sore?
Flu shot won't work the next day. It takes 6 weeks to become effective. It isn't 100% effective in everyone. It makes some people sick. I have had good luck with it. I have never gotten the flu when I have gotten it, so that's why I get it. |

Its an educated guess every year, I think they go withthe 3 strains they think it will be. A few yrs ago they guessed wrong and it was messy.

I just want to know why the only time I ever get really sick is when I actually get the flu shot, usually within the first week of getting it too.
