Default Burn baby burn.

Busted out the plastic melter 4000 again to put my headlights back together. two of the brackets broke off in the wreck, i could salvage one of the broken one with original parts, but the right side lower mounting point needed a complete re-fabrication. The plastic welder works GREAT. Im not worried about these not being secure enough to hold it in place in the least bit, the things are on there for good. saved my ass 200 bucks right thar.

heres some after shots, and what it SHOULD look like.

You went out and bought a plastic welder? Or are you still using the soldering iron method? SOldering iron works great, but those fumes are nasty.

I tried that on mine, but there was too much damage- especially on the headlight surround- and it would have looked like shit. Turned out cheaper to let the insurance pay for new parts so I could get back to riding.
