Bad economy

Both increase in thefts and crunch on hotel numbers...

so true. But I know the guys I tour with tend to walk away with the amenities from time to time

They aren't too fond of the towels being used to wipe off the bike, then returned to the bathroom floor either

Not sure whats wrong with BLACK towels

well when all the great super economists are on TV telling people never to pay for shampoo again, just take all the little bottles from the motels you stay in. what do we expect.

Do people need things this badly? Most average hotels have average towels at best. I'll take my home towels any day!

Holiday Inn Express? They've had those up for years. Even when the economy is good, too many people think they have a right to take anything they want because they rented a room for the night.
