Default Ducati SuperMotard 796

Looks like its 1100cc big brother, except it shares a powertrain with the monster 696. also probably priced slightly higher than the 696

If they make it light enough there will be, but I am talking 50+ lbs lighter than the Monster 696. It would take around an 80 lb reduction to get it in to Aprilia supermoto territory.

367 lbs, 81bhp, 56lb/ft of torque, slipper clutch. 800cc engine is described as "completely new," returns 49mpg. The 796 will retail for $9,995 when it goes on sale in the US in December.

Makes more sense than the 1100...which made no sense whatsoever.

Still not a supermoto, you can't take it offroad. Well, you can, but you can't expect to get back home afterwards.

It looks different than the 1100, kind of ugly to me. I still love the Hyper 1100 though. It could use a little more HP but it would be fun for some quick canyon carving.

I'm with the Rideman on this one. But it does sound like a fun bike.
