Default The good old dump and run

This happens all the time in brooklyn, surprised this was actualy newsworthy.

Mistake #1 was taking him to that particular hospital, I wouldnt let those guys take care of my cats at least get him to a trauma center or something.

I was working a 24 hour shift at our local county (JPS) a few years ago. Me and a buddy were outside taking a break when we heard screeching tires and an engine revving. All the sudden this old Continental comes flying around the corner and into the emergency bay. The car is ridden with bullet holes, the passenger door opens and someone kicks a guy out and starts to drive off, with the door still open.

A Dr. that was out there gave chase on foot long enough to get a tag number. The guy they dropped off had a GSW to the chest and a shotgun wound to his arm. I still remember his biggest concern as he told us repeatedly not to take his jewelry off as a Dr. probed the chest wound with his finger and opened a passage to spray blood 5 feet across the room. He did live though.

Side note: That was when I learned that trauma can give guys repeated boners. Weird.

the last one at our ER got messy. apparently the shooters realy wanted these guys dead because they followed them and had a second shootout in our ambulance bay. One died in the street with 2 to the head, another died in the OR after multiple shots to the chest, and the 3rd only got hit in the leg.

its that or theyre aspiring rappers or are just turning their lives around.

the article doesnt say much about the kid or if hes the intended target but I guess him and his friends were up to no good since they didnt stick around. They didnt stop and go inside or get help, just dump him out front and hope for the best, realy makes ya wonder.

And now I wonder if whoever the shoot tonight in retaliation will wind up in my ER.

Not in NYC could be shit a lot more serious, plus if your friends drop you off and LEAVE you at a hospital kinda makes ya wonder what was actuayl going on.

This occurs about once ever week to 2 weeks in the summer at kings county and more so at brookdale.
