Default Getting lost on purpose

I love doing that on my bike. Yesterday, I had the best ride. I knew the general area I was in, but I was on some backroads in the middle of nowhere. I would just take a turn if the road looked interesting. It was a really sunny afternoon so I knew which direction I was going, and I knew if I drove far enough which major roads I would run into. But I had never been on those roads before. Saw some beautiful country. I kept thinking "I should stop and get a pic for the POTM contest", but I was having way too much fun to stop.

Oh, and yesterday confirmed my love for the SV. After the winter mods, it handles great in the curves, but I could also ride all day given the riding position. Those of you who have known me know that I've been through bike after bike. I think this one is a keeper.

Nothing wrong with that type of ride.

...just don't do it too far from gas stations.

So you made it about a mile out of town?

I normally ride with a group, but there are tons of times when I have no idea where we are and just keep following.

It's still around town. The guy that bought it from me highsided and had it repainted plain white. No pearl. It's a sharp ride, but I don't miss it. That thing handled like a tank

I've actually done the same thing between here and your neck of the woods. Although I did have a map that I would consult from time to time. Just so I wouldn't bypass my brother's place in Nashville and end up in Kentucky
