My desktop is usually a picture of my kids. I change it whenever I get a decent/funny picture of them doing something new. They grow so fast it seems to get changed a lot.

^that would annoy the hell out of me.

Mine depends on what I have up there. Sometimes they last a couple months, others only make it a few days.

Maybe every 1-2 months, once I find something I like it sticks for a while.

My desktop computer has had the same picture of a customized Yamaha Warrior for over a year I think.

On my laptop I forget what I had before someone changed it to a picture of my daughter from Halloween. That stayed till my laptop acted up and I had to get it repaired. I had it back for a month or so and haven't but anything up yet.

I'm kinda like rider... I'll find one that jumps out at me and it'll be my back ground for a long time... then I'll switch like 5 times in a day or week... all depends...

here's what mine is right now... it's a HDR shot of the boardwalk in Seoul

Never. I've had the same background on my home PC for 7 years or more, and the same one on my work PC for three or better.

Don't feel bad, I've had the standard blue background at work since I started there 10 years ago... and I don't have the authorization to change it. They have that feature locked down on our PCs.

At home, it was the standard blue but a couple months back I put up a picture of a Legacy GT as it is a motivation for me. I want/need a new car, so seeing it each day keeps me on track with saving money.
