Ebbs....better? I redone it, but didn't play so much with all the different stuff. I tried to do something a little more basic to help me figure it out.

did you create three photos from one? or just tone map the single photo?

I went back through the thread and did what you suggested to do to one photo. Adjust the exposure to make a positive and a negative...use the original so I'd have three to work with. I adjusted both the brightness and contrast evenly each way. Was that right?

On your last picture it looks like the original wasn't clear enough and thus the HDR one became a bitch more grainy than needed.

But thats just my guess. I gotta try this sometime.

Could be. It's an older pic taken with an older digital camera (about 5 years old)

I'm kinda diggin' the effect it did to it though. Pretty neat!

The HDR qualities you are adding to your photos are over exposing some of the picture. The idea with HDR is that everything is exposed properly. Keep messing with it though...you soon figure out what adjusting one thing does versus adjusting something else.
