God I am stupid sometimes!!!
Ok,so I stay out all night last night and get home about 5am. At 7am my puppy wants out. At 9am my buddy wants to borrow a spare jacket for his gf. At 11am my buddies want to go riding to a bike party about 50 miles away. Okay, fucking okay I'm getting up,fuck! I barely get my teeth brushed and here they are. I throw on my gear and bounce out the door. (I'll mention here that part of my ride yesterday/last night involved a run to this chick's house that lives down a long dirt road)
I get on my bike without hardly even looking at it (oops) and away we go. Well,I decide to pop a very small 10 o'clock wheelie and I came down a little hard,no biggie (oops). We ride on and I notice that my brakes are kinda "spongy",hmmm... I wonder what's up? It seems that I had a bunch of dirt/sand on my forks from the night before and when I did the wheelie I forced dirt under the seal and fork oil was all over my brakes. (duh) Oh but it gets worse..... So I go home and look for my handy, dandy fork seal cleaner tool. Can't find it so I make one out of a grocery store discount card (man I hate those fucking things) and go out to disassemble my brakes and clean out my fork seals. I get the brakes apart no problem and I'm working on the fork seals...you know this would work better if I take the weight off the front. Hmmm... I know I'll use my floor jack... Well, thank goodness for Woodcraft frame sliders,Gilles non-hinged foot pegs,Cruise Meister bar ends,Vortex break off levers.... What a DUMBASS!!!! Note to everyone that been against "Chinese" plastic. It held up rather well with just this scratch and a broken post that I just Gorilla glued. |

So the bike fell off the floor jack?
Either way that sucks. I hate days when you didn't get enough sleep, shit goes wrong and it never seems to end. |

That sucks dude.
On a more positive note, it could have been worse.

I used to have a buddy that no matter how bad a day you had his was worse (with proof). it really was nice talking to him after a bad day. |
