Don't know how safe the medical industry is. I work for a division of the VA, mailing out free meds to veterans. The only thing they pay for is shipping. Our orders have dropped dramatically, seems the vets are having a hard time paying for shipping, therefore going w/o their meds.

There are 7 facilities, and due to lack of work, they may cut the 2nd shift. Those of us on 2nd shift are already down to 32 hours per week. It's scary and it sucks.

i thought the VA covered the benefits/medications for their patients?

They do, but if you don't have ability to get to a facility every month, you can have 3 months of meds mailed to your house, they just charge shipping, which is less than $5.

I'm am ER nurse and my husband is military.

We need an act of government to loose our jobs.

Pretty stable.
