nothing is worse than a bunch of eco-morons with no idea how to actually change things. they're like peta to me.

if you REALLY want to change things, attend meetings in numbers, the voices of MANY echoing the same feelings, speak far louder than attention whore stunts. playing by the rules generally does get results. just not immediately most of the time.

That would require two things Greenpeace is lacking. The first is patience. Considering they feel OMG, PEOPLE ARE DYING RIGHT NOW!!! I doubt they are capable of that. The second is people willing to attend meetings in numbers. For the majority of "global climate change is horrible" people their commitment goes about as far as stroking a check to Greenpeace and buying a Prius. Their commitment does not extend to spending a bunch of time with patchouli reeking idiots talking about Phish's next tour and how pissed they are they were only 6 when Jerry Garcia died.
