I think people forget that these are overtuned 2-strokes

mine hits 87mph at 660 feet.

My friend jimmy's summit1k hits 93 at 660, and my uncles crossfire 1k hit 91.

Hell, I think it was in the early 90's that Ski-Doo had a 440cc 2 stroke making 100hp.. Mx-Zx?

Ya, the 440mxzx. A guy at work has one, and its hella cool. The first real sno-cross machine.

On trails, yes. Around ND it is 55 mph unless otherwise noted on trail maps or on the trails.
Out in the boonies, nothing really, but landowners can cause a fuss if they want, and fish and game can mess with you as well.

Mine tops out in the mid 90's right out of the box (snow conditions have to be perfect for that - mine isn't a race-ready sled). It won't get there nearly as fast as Apoc's though. My BIL's Firecat F6 will get there fairly quickly.

In NY the trail limit is 55. We have rules for everything here.

In my pic above, I have the analog on tach and the speedo on digital but you can swap them.
