Our usage will still fall into the $25/month tier. It actually lowers our bill a little bit, so it's fine by me. If I'm doing anything that's very bandwidth intensive, I don't have the patience to wait for it to load up on my phone. I go to my computer. As mentioned above, existing contracts will still be unlimited, until the customer changes their plan.
When my contract expires, I will visit the idea of dropping my iPhone to go to Android. That all depends on what devices are available and for what carriers. My only real choices are AT&T or Verizon. I will not go back to Sprint. |

I probably should have started a thread, because I've been talking about this for a while, but haven't posted on it, and while it's related to this topic, it's not just about AT&T's latest boner.
No, this is the "how to avoid AT&T altogether, and still kinda have your iPhone" topic. Actually, not the iPhone, per-se, but the iPod Touch, which is basically the same fucking thing, without the 3G...so you connect via Wi-Fi, instead...to: A MOBILE 3G HOT SPOT. They make them now, as tiny as a wallet. They support up to 4-5 devices, so fuck tethering; just connect yer shit to the hub...and caps? Not if you use another carrier. Fuck AT&T. Hard. Those apps that are locked out of using 3G on the iPhone? Well, with an iPod Touch Wi-Fi'd to a 3G mobile hot spot, no one knows what bits are what, and you can stream video, and make fucking Skype calls all day long.

Yeah, I'm on an unlimited, but Ulu has finally decided to get an iphone, and the deadline was today. Fucking phone companies, just give me service that doesn't suck! Upgrade your fucking network and get me better service that I don't get ripped off over.

On your iPhone? That doesnt sound right unless youre streaming video non-stop for a month.
