what the hell, these jackasses got the story all wrong....
about the only thing they got right was : fish, kayak, florida, woman.

can't say i have ever seen or heard of this type of fish in local waters...

Probably the easier method to get a redfin. Gonna try and look over the support streams on the local lake tonight and see if there's any good spots for that
