Music and editing are powerful.

Slow-mo, and brown chicken, brown cow music could have made that all play out very differently. I think you went the right way with this.

I've always wanted to get into Jiu Jitsu. I just don't think I can fit it into my schedule and fitness routine. I don't think could keep lifting and mountain biking like I do and get into any serious martial arts.

My grandmother was a 4th degree blackbelt in Judo (Yondan). She started on her 50th birthday and did that well into her 70s before Alzheimer's took over.

That's awesome man! We train some judo at my school as well, very tough stuff.

I guess if you're really into lifting and all....but Jiu Jitsu will keep you fit as hell. In fact, you'd be amazed how fast you get worn how your first couple of months...despite being in good shape. There's no workout like Jiu Jitsu.

No doubt it would kick my ass. I just think it would interfere with the other workouts I do.

I'm going to be checking out gyms this week... There's like 5 within a few miles of me and a couple more on my way to work... American Top Team hasn't called me back, I'm doing a trial at a Gracie Barra next week, and I'm going to check out The Jungle (Seth Petruzelli's gym) on my way home one of these days.

Gracie gym is $97/mo, unlimited - offer muy thai, MMA, and jiu jitsu classes... come and go as you please... The Jungle ranges from $50 to $175 and also offers extreme fitness and a full gym. ATT offers the same shit, but nobody has called me back to discuss pricing and access...

I'm leaning more towards the Gracie gym, given it's flexibility and price. Just curious how other gyms work and how much they cost.
