I dunno how good of a condition the parts are, but its quite possible there are a few grand worth of parts in there. If the body pannels dont need too much work to get them back up to snuff, I don't know, but its possible?

I couldn't find a single part that wasn't fucked up, one way or another.

There is a big difference between a 50 year old Chevy Bel air and a 10 year old ford focus (that I parted out). The window trim on the focus isnt worth shit since there are 1,000,000 of them on the road right now, but a 50 year old bel air where only 500,000 were made of that generation car between all the different styles.

I looked on ebay for window trim, and it is going for from $30 (buy it now) for an individual piece in bad condition to $900 for a full set in perfect condition.

Its a classic car, yes parts original are going to be worth money.

But is that car original? Is it his project that he screwed up and now wants to get rid of? Are the parts on it worth it?
