Default GoPro camera.. a damn convincing video as to why to buy

Being all the talk lately on these little things.

"bumped my head on the door frame on exit unclasping the latch on the box. The camera popped out on exit at 12.500 and fell straight down onto the landing area at the DZ and was recovered by a fellow skydiver. It even caught our landings. Not one scratch on the body or lens. Still can't believe that I got it back and that it is totally fine. A buddy the same day who is one of our camera flyers had the same thing happen but with his SLR....not the same result. I'm definitely a gopro fan for life these little guys are bomb proof"

Best Youtube Quote: "Reminds me of watching scrambled porn as a kid"

Next he needs to invest in video editing software so he can speed up the 8 hours between the camera landing and his buddy finding it. Pisses me off that people buy 12 helmet cameras,a $5,000 DSLR/digital video recorder, and $2,000 in mounts, but they won't fork over the $50 to use good HD video editing software.

I have a ContourHD and it built pretty solid too. Friend of mine had one mounted to his ZX10. The mount failed and he ran it over. Still works like a charm.

I right now have about six GoPro cameras scattered around the track in random places. They fly off their mounts from time to time. It is pretty rare to find one that doesn't work again. And, we usually find them with the mowers.

The contour, on the other hand. Not so lucky...

The form factor of the gopro is just so weird and dorky on a moto. Fine for a car but on a moto it's weird having that big square sticking up off your head. And the sound of the cameras ratting around in their cases drives me batty. Love my Contour.
