Don't feel bad. At least now you understand just how heavy your bike gets when not on center. After a Highside last sunday on the freaking way to the track I am now on the stupid crash list myself. Almost 2.5 years of custom paint and perfection I'm tempted to dump tons of money and bring it back from the Depths of two facedum, but I think another crash is on the horizon given my new found love for the track.

Second time on the same side only more broken parts.

Scratches are Gangsta.
And don't forget the asphalt gods get angry and vengeful if they spot new paint or leathers...Pride goeth before the fall!

Yeah we all have been there... Dropped the 9R once in my apt parking lot cause my foot slipped on a wet paint stripe.... no real damage.

Dropped the chop once... scratched and bent the pipe tip... had my pipe guy bend back out and repolish the stainless... cost $50..

I have a line on a used belly pan. I'm thinking I'll offer him $30 or so. If I can get off that cheaply, I'll replace the pan. The mirror scratch is barely visible.

Haven't actually dropped mine since I got it back to mint condition from the previous owner's wreck. My ex-room mate did go ahead and drop it for me though when riding it around our neighbor hood.

I have on more then one occasion, pulled up somewhere and started getting off the bike without the kickstand. Fortunately I have managed to catch it each time but there have been some CLOSE calls.
