ya i can agree with that. it seems the ones that have all that burden of self pity and lack of self confidence are the easiest to maintain... but i guess it bites you in the ass sometimes.

After 15 minutes of "you don't like me" rantings in the car, I'd have probably said, "Ok, I'm sorry, let's just go to the bar." Then I'd have driven her to the bar, gone in with her (she works there so you shouldn't have to worry about a cover charge), tell her you have to take a leak, then slip out while she's not looking. Head home, turn off the phone and get some sleep.

thats the think cap, she wasnt nutso to begin with. Its like she was a stick of dynamite... completely safe until you happen to spark the fuse.

I would have pulled that move but i was so adamant on getting her out of my car that i didnt want to consider it. You have to understand at that point my brain was pretty much melted from mental exhaustion.
