Default My winter mod thread (with crappy cell phone pics!)

so i got a clear alternatives integrated taillight for my birthday and i decided to install it in the blade tonight

the unboxing

man there is too much shit in my garage...oh well :P

great thing about working on a bike with a trunk is you always have somewhere to store your tools

got the plate and stock turns off

Lookie! i got a convertable!

after a bunch of fiddling and nearly having to remove the whole fricken tail cover i got the stocker out of there

nice little side by side. smoke is sooo much nicer than clear, bet that'll go great with red eh?

ok, so i lost one of the little rubber feet that supports the light after the side by. took me about thirty minutes to find that (fell in one of the tool boxes) then i lost my beer. FUCK...oh there it is. alright lets spend another twenty minutes fiddling this thing in there and..damn that does look good.

alright lets start wiring: measure twice, cut once, still got it backwards first try

now that thats all done lets start tucking some of this shit away and bolt this sucker back up

got the seat back on and mr power commander safely tucked back in his spot

all finished! actually i found that i knocked out my underglow leds while moving wires around but tracking that downs gonna have to wait for another day

now i gotta find somewhere to put that ugly ass plate...hmmm
