If you're going to do it, do it right.
Go out sailing, anchor out, a nice dinner, cooked by me on the boat (fresh lobster and fish is usually my first choice, and it's always stuff I've caught/shot) a few glasses of wine, watch the sunset, a quick swim in the moonlight, then a little while sailing under the stars. There are some definite advantages to being a boat captain in the Keys! Although probably the best romantic evening I've had in a long time was a couple days ago. I rented a nice beachfront room on Sanibel, we went out on the beach in the afternoon, I could tell there was a storm coming in (another advantage to being a captain), so we went back up to the room and as soon as we walked in the door it started pouring. Well, the room had a nice private balcony overlooking the now deserted beach, spent some quality time on the balcony with the storm in the background, then hopped in the shower, went to a really nice dinner on the water, watched the sunset, went back to the hotel, walked on the beach and then back to the balcony for a few glasses of wine, and to really top it all off, I woke her up very gently right before the sunrise the next morning and watched the sunrise from the bed through the sliding glass door. I like to think I'm pretty good at this kind of thing!
