You know, you figure they'd wait until AFTER they structure GM so more cars hit this and then increase GM sales.

I chose to go to a small one vs a big dealership and got a great deal.

Traded in my old car and ended up getting a 07 Chrysler 300C.
The voucher from my trade in covered my down payment +TT&L so i just drove off without paying anything.

It was a place called Econo Cars on 43rd and tc jester i think.

My Grand Cherokee had the 5.2L V8 and it would move out.... Gas mileage however sucked and when towing a 21' boat over mountain passes the gas mileage would drop to below 10. Gas was cheap back in those days though.

I checked into it and you are correct. When I found out my actual combined mpg is 16 instead of 18 (what I thought) it helps.

I may not even use this program since I don't really like most of the vehicles that I have to choose from but it is nice to know that I can.

I'm pretty sure GM has so much excess inventory that this will not be a problem.

I wouldn't worry about it anyway. It looks like the program may be over.

Um I really doubt that Volvo was 18 mpg or less, so wtf

And I wouldn't doubt this procedure causes as much pollution as the vehicles they're trying to replace.

All the suburban/city idiots who bought SUVs that they didn't really need when they were popular, and now want to "Go Green" (tm) like everyone else.

Such a wasteful program At least they limit it to post-84 cars, so the already thin population of older cars isn't being hit again.
