Now I know that these won't be everyone's style but I am honestly stuck!
The Icon Contra is about $200 for me and the Timax mesh is $217, what do you think? Link for Contra http://www.rideicon.com/product_deta...y=2229&id=8866 |

Yea but it has large mesh panels in the front for cooling (the Contra), if you're refering to the Mesh TiMax, oh no my friend it is almost totally mesh.

You can see the metal plate is on the side and the top pad. There is no CE armor at the shoulder. The plate looks more at the joint, but when its on, it feels more lower by my bicep.

nah, I have at least 4 textile jackets, I want a mesh jacket. Thanks though! I looked at that Scorpion jacket for quite a while... They also have a Fieldsheer for $69 that would work for my purposes but, well I care what it looks like too much, I guess. |

There are some mesh mesh jackets. Ones I'd recommend armor underneath if you want all the airflow you can get.
