Well I think a modern powerplant would be to my likings over a seize prone LeRohne or gnome...More power less weight, less castor oil to breathe....

i doubt if built with today's alloy tech, coatings, and machining that they would be seize prone, heavy or underpowered. i do think it would still give you a bath which you gotta admit is important to the experience

I think I want the 3/4 scale Fokker DRI Triplane. Mount a couple semi auto rifles to it and strafe my wife's ex's place. Maybe hit his truck on the road to work...Classic!

There is at least 1 company making 3/4 scale P-51 Mustangs too if you care for a bit more speed on your strafing run.
