I think it's Allstate that will only ensure certain bikes. It's kind of ironic that they have this huge motorcycle insurance ad campaign, but they won't insure anything I care to ride. State Farm for me, all the way. They insure all 3 of my vehicles and my home, and I have had nothing but excellent rates and service from them.

Allstate told me that since I had had an accident 5 years ago they would never insure a motorcycle for me, even tho I'd had my house policy, and all my cars with them for almost 10.

State Farm FTW, and their rates were several hundred dollars less than anyone else.

Both are pretty cool commercials.

Really ? Wow that sucks about Allstate. I'm currently with State Farm as well after being with Nationwide for 15 or so years. NW just kept increasing their rates and I felt like making a change.

Weird.

Allstate insures of all 4 of our bikes, from the Duc to the vintage stuff.

Cheap too. $423.00 a year for all of them. I added another bike to the policy a couple of years ago, and the total actually went DOWN.
