I was a little nervous puting pink pant (in the engraving) on a new rifle but the results turned out pretty good. She's happy and now the guys at the range wont keep thinking she's shooting her dads rifle!

Nice.

I did the engravings on my XD in green. Looks pretty awesome if you ask me.

I finally got some 20-rounds MD Arms drums in for the Saiga 12. The old East German paratrooper vest has a pocket that can take one drum and the AK mag pockets that can take at least two 5-round or 8 rounds stick mags and another loose pocket that can probably take three or four stick mags. Just not the really long 10-round or 12-round mags.

Right now I have a list of guns I want:

Masterpiece Arms MPA30T (yes, a ghetto blaster)
Saiga 12 with all the goodies
A nice AK 47 or 74
Glock 19
A nice AR M4
SA SOCOM II
SA 1911, Mil Spec
Colt King Cobra or Anaconda
SW Model 27

I think that is all for now. Someone should make a Zombie Appocolypse topic LOL

I'm not sure about a few of your choices there (G19? Why?), but the one that really gets me is the AK 74. Why would you want the 74 when 47s are so plentiful and (relatively) cheap? 7.62 > 5.56 every time.

You are correct but if there was "the scenerio", I would take the 5.56 just because it might be a little easier to get here in the US vs the 7.62x.39.

The G19 because again it's a 9mm and ammo should be plentifull.

I've never had any issue getting 7.62 anywhere.

Good call on the 9mm. That's why I like it as a handgun round- ammo is plentiful and reasonably cheap, and you can get some decent defensive rounds for it. Still, I think there are a lot better handguns out there than the G19 (or Glock anything, for that matter).

That depends greatly on what type of rounds you need.
Lately it's gotten difficult finding anything other than FMJ ammo around here (at least for any reasonable price) and I can't shoot FMJ's at my range of choice.
That's not saying Russian 5.56 is any easier... but you know what I mean.

The pricing of 762 and 556/223 suck. I dont ant to have to buy 1000 rounds to get afdeal.

I'd like to buy some cheap 7.62 for plinking with my .308, but I heard that the 7.62 military surplus rounds are not good for .308 Win rifles even though a .308 is = 7.62mm.

Anyone know if this is true.
