Default the journey

the adventure has begun. i quit my job last week, loaded up the camper, hooked up to the dually and headed south.
first night was spent in Tenn. uneventful, very glad the truck is running well.
next day involved a rest stop in union spring AL. if you've never been there i recommend missing it. LOL

spent the night in Alachula FL. now we have arrived in Orlando Florida. Hmm this could be a great beginning, (or a crashng end) LOL
will be camping until the house sells. it all started with an off the cuff job offer. that and being tired of shoveling snow. LOL

hope to get pics soon.

Welcome to Florida, now go get drunk and smoke some meth so people won't think you are such a tourist.

thanks for the well wishes. yes it was pretty fast. one of those opportunity knocks will you jump things.
i'll tell you in a few months if it was a good jump.

on the road people never cease to amaze me. from the people who think they should jump out in front of the truck with the camper to the people running registers at businesses. the waitress in Tenn who thought i was going to tell her a joke when i asked about the roads outside of their town was a treat.

people here so far have been great, i have met a few who must enjoy the life from an altered state. LOL got those folks everywhere though.

the campground i am in is really pretty nice. more rules then I am used to though that's for sure.

I lived at 21 palms resort off of Osceola-Polk county line road for a year. It was decent place to stay. You might check it out.

Am probably headed that way myself in a year for the exact same reasons as you.

This is great! I love to hear when people just decide to do things on a whim. Makes me envious to a point in that they aren't afraid to jump head first.
