Most recently, I didn't meet him.... But security stopped Tom Cruise from going into the restricted area at Leguna. Right next to me. I got in, he didn't.

I met Marisa Tomei about 10 yrs ago....but had no idea who she was at the time. Her brother Adam was a good friend of my boss' son. We were down there at his son's place to just drop in on him while we were at a job meeting in Charlotte. She was there with her brother just hanging out.
I thought nothing of it...till my boss told me on the way home who it was. Met John Schneider (Bo Duke) at a car show when I was 8 yrs old. He was at a meet and greet and I got to shake his hand and sit shotgun in the General Lee for a picture. Met a few senators and shook Carter & Bush Sr's hand Not star-struck or a fanboy of ANYONE so I've never been too excited over famous people. I figure they have to wipe their ass just like I do

I have met many in the world of professional sports but I will leave them off this list since they are so common to me. Here are some of the motorsport related ones:
Jason Britton Ricky Gadsen Greg Biffle Kurt Busch Richard Petty Rick Hendricks |

Richard Childress hit on my mom. That was pretty creepy to watch, but I was hoping he would pick her up and get us some hot pit passes.

Only big name I ever met was John Meloncamp(sp?). I was waiting on him and had no idea who he was. He was trying to get me to guess, told me some of his songs and I never got it. When I got home(I was in HS) I told my dad the songs and he told me who it was. Looked him up and sure enough, that was him.
One of the former Houston Rockets was a regular at the golf course I used to work at....can't remember his name now. Also, the lead singer for the band Dynamite Hack(they did Boyz in the Hood) was a member there. He's still one of my FB friends. |

At the old school I worked at we had a TLC show host's daughter in my class.
Just a few months ago one of the Iron Chef's walked through my classroom. She was checking out the school for her son. |
