Try checking on Southwest's website. Unless they have changed something their tickets are not carried through third party websites. They don't fly to Harrisburg, but Baltimore is one of their hubs. They are probably your best chance at a reasonable ticket.

Thirdgen was in the same position and he rode his bike. So get off your lazy ass and get some miles under you. LOL

I'm trying to do this as cheaply as conveniently as possible. Driving to Pittsburgh just isn't gonna happen. And I do not plan on renting a car.

I dont think so. Harrisburg International Airport is hardly that. There are only a handful of companies that come and go. The plus side is there are NEVER lines. Even on THanksgiving and Xmas they only see a few thousand passengers. The downside is prices are often a bit more expensive. But like I said, US Air does daily flights for $134 bucks.

I hear a lot of people use Twitter and friend companies like Best Buy, Delta, etc and the companies will Tweet coupon codes and special offers. Might be worth a shot.
Good plan. I'll look into it, Thanks!

I did that when I flew to Cali about 4 or 5 years ago. We were going to the Rancho Cordova area. We save about $400 per ticket to fly into LA. That was worth the 8 hour deive to us.

Yup. Southwest, Jet Blue, etc usually have web-fares that are better than on general travel sites.

I flew out to Amsterdam a few years ago for my grandfathers funeral. It wound up being almost $1500 cheaper to fly into Paris, rent a car and make the 6 hour drive into holland

Good call.

Your chances of dying in a fiery plane crash, go up like a million percent if you get on a plane.
