It's a shame.
The H1's have always been an incredible piece of badassery. The H2's are plenty capable machines, even though they share a platform with some of the more civilized GM grocery wagons. The H3's were made for those that couldn't afford the H2.

TRUTH!!!!! I managed to get a Blazer behind that shit! Me and my Platoon Sargent were each 6'4''. We were so exicted to get one when they came out....4 weeks in the field later, um yea the excitement wore off... I begged to be swapped out with the Lt's driver. The Lt rode in a M113 w00t!!! When you request a trade from a wheeled vehicle to a tracked vehicle....Heck, I'd rather ride in a Gamma Goat!

The H2 I rode in was actually pretty fun, and had a nice interior.
I wouldn't spend money on one, though. I'd probably buy a new FJ and customize it a bit for the same money or less.

No doubt! We have a guy here that is 6'7", we jokingly pulled the drivers seat out for him one day, he could comfortably drive from the back seat! |

We owned a H2 from 03 to 07, Best seats GM ever put in any ride. That is about the best I could say for it. 0-60 in an afternoon, and the Handling characteristics of a a small land mass. My wife wanted it, we got it, we were over it inside of the first 18 months, can not say I am sorry to see them go.

Rode in an H1 around GM's test track and some dude who works for our company vendor had an H3. The H3 was OK, but the H1 was built like shit. Prolly very durable, but the interior was very cheap.
