easier access to rear seats
more luggage space w/ all the seats being used
no towing nec. for us, maybe a bike trailer in the future.

The Enclave is VERY nice looking.

For $40K though, I'd buy a BMW or maybe a Toureg if it was within range.

That all sounds good but I need to tow a boat.

How heavy is your boat?

The Enclave/Acadia/etc only tows 1000 lbs more than the Honda.

Boat(2400) + trailer(600) + gear(guessing 200 or more) + fuel(315) =~3500 ballpark.

The factory tow package is rated at 4.5K lbs. I don't know what the Honda is.

The Honda is 3500lbs.

I try to notice things like tow rating now but growing up, if the vehicle could pull it, it did.

I can assure you from experience that most vehicles will tow amounts that FAR exceed their ratings.

I'm not sure I'd tow anything heavier with the Acadia. It really has to work to tow that 3500lbs. I'd hate to max it out. Besides the tow rating, it's only a fwd and I get nervous pulling the boat out on a wet boat ramp.

The Acadia/Outlook/Enclave are very well built vehicles IMO. The motor and trans are VG as well. Best looking crossover IMO.

That is fine until an accident happens and insurance denies the claim.
