I just did a mini aftermarket feasability study, seems to me you could add a full akro, bazzaz z-fi qs tc, decent rubber and some other goodies to a zx10 with a little smart shopping and still come out under the bimmer

I completely get your point and would rather have the Honda, but will the Honda have 182+ horsepower, and run the strip faster than the mighty Busa???

Not without cams and a redline increase. Thus why I chose the zed for my example. Still though, these things aren't drag racers and dyno numbers aren't absoloute. THEY went faster on the blade even with said power deficit. Try that on the busa

Oh, yea I meant to say Zed... but under that point, how would the Zed be any different than the Honda? Better top end motor?

way. and i believe the mags were claiming it to be the fastest bike to 180 in 2008

The question, Daniel-San is not which is faster bike, but which is faster bike under YOU?! One may need the flickability of the Honda, the stable chassis of the Suzuki, or the traction control/abs salvation of the Beemer to be truly fast.
