Yeah, I tore up the streets for a bit before my first track day. But I did a lot of reading up on form and all that and I took the school and they were teaching everything I already knew or had an idea of. I had a few buddies that knew a bunch and they taught me some too.

I gotcha. We've had similar paths re: bikes.

Street retardation isn't worth it to me anymore after riding track.

Although I suppose I can ride at a faster pace on the street now and still not consider it near my limits... bigger error margin.


I've done 6 TDs now as well. They make such a difference.

Two more coming up in a month... hope the bike's ready

My next TD proly won't happen til October. So I'll be scraping the dust off and hopefully coming close to my personal best, but I hope I can shave another second or two off. It'll be difficult. It's gonna come down to the come down. How much more speed can I actually carry through this turn, etc...
