Compared to 5-10 years ago, a ton more Ebay stuff is sent USPS instead of UPS........So what have they been doing with all that extra profit? Inflating their already inflated benefit packages? Seriously, if they can't figure out how to stay afloat, then they are pathetic.

but the internet has destroyed large scale product mailings, and while ebay has picked up some of the slack, the companies that used to spend millions sending pamphlets and ads just dont exist any more

Overall, my experience using them has been pretty good, although I've had a few issues over the years. About the best I could hope for from such an entity. Seeing all of the problems others have with them makes me feel one of the lucky few.

Yeah, the few left are basically insurance companies and credit card companies.

At least the site worked for you. Everytime I try to track USPS, the package is delivered before the site says the package was dropped off for shipping

So fast you actually got your shit the day before. I retract my statements where I bash the government.

This has been my experience too - no issues with USPS and cheap.

We have more problems with UPS. Package was 30 miles from here and ended up in FL when it originally came from CA. Not sure how that happened.

In my experience, USPS is a waste of my time and money.

I've had good luck 99% of the time with UPS and Fed-Ex.

I've had bad luck 99% of the time with USPS.

On more than one occasion, USPS has sent something from the west coast, bypassed me and send it to the far east coast, and then sent it back to me in the middle of the country.

I have no sympathy for the USPS complaints that they are out of money. No shit.
