When you say ribbon, if you're referring to that silly round button at the upper left, I hate that. Why not just call it "File", since that's what those functions are?
And the tabs running across the top suck, because you have to look all the way across to find what you need. They waste a lot of space with all those icons, whereas before it was a simple, fast pulldown menu. |

The ribbon is the annoying and long list of large icons and text labels across the top of the screen under the menu bar.

What Lee said. It's also a half-assed attempt to make Windows look like Mac O/S.
