Thats frost. That light coating you got is something we would use for traction.

Maybe if you southerners didn't drive with bald summer tires all the time you wouldn't have a problem.
One, you can keep the shitty seasons. Two, their bald because the sun rots them out and they melt to the roads.

Saw that the panhandle may get a foot of snow..

That's definitely a lot, relatively speaking. We got almost 3 feet 2 weeks ago.. that was fun..

The wind blows here and it sucks worse than it just raining on you. Especially when the dirt is in the air. I have an oil leak on the vfr and aim sure the dirt has fudged up a seal. Fron just a quick look Im guessing sprocket shaft seal, but will know once I get the cover off. Of course it coule be my valve cover gaskets cause I didnt replace.those when I checked the valve clearances.

Shit is still falling. Would love to have my er-6n converted to a dual sport for this.

Funny, but I don't think that we get a whole lot of snow here. Once in a very long while we get what I would call 'real snow', like I used to see when I was a kid. Here's a shot of a jackknifed truck, from the last real storm we saw. Another one is supposed to hit us tomorrow.

It cracks me up when the yankees make fun of us Southerners because we shut down schools and the like when it snows a little bit. They seem to forget we have something here they've never seen. They're called "hills". We also have something called "mountains"! I know they seem strange and scary to you northerners but, we're used to them and know when to leave them alone so they don't bite us!
