Terre Haute. I work an hour and a half away right now. I only work 3 days a week, but they're 12 hour days. I spend the other 4 days at my parent's house and have my daughter those 4 days. Driving back and forth, gas prices being what they are, I can't really afford a house. Yes, a bike would greatly help on gas money, but it would take a couple years to get all that money back out of it. If we had a longer riding season, I could more easily justify it.

For three grands? Sorry but I'd buy me up a used SV650 before I'd touch a Katana.
PS I thought that the late 1980s early 1990s Katana was the coolest thing ever.

What people need to know is that Cap'n's last bike was a '05 R6. Major, major, major downgrade!

It hasn't been THAT long since I've had a bike. Besides, I was only 1 1/2 in the summer of '75. And Dlit is right about the downgrade. Damn near anything I can afford to buy (which ain't much) is a serious downgrade from that R6 that I had. |

just give'n ya shit.
and well what do ya expect... the 05 R6 was a good bike... though have you thought about it this way... you could save enough in gas money in a year to pay for the bike if you commuted on it |

Here you go: http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/836151219.html Yamaha sportbike for less than $2K. Plus, it looks nicer than the '05 R6, and is way better than the Tuna.
