Yeah don't worry. A quick chat with the wife to go over pros/cons nixxed it out of the runnings fast. Big cons... besides the lack of cool & power. I don't want another chevy, no way! Second, if I have problems with GM warranty in the future, it will be ruff go around I think after I'm done with my current car.

So onward and back on track. I want the volvo.

The overseas delivery, upon further research, does have some BIG negatives.

If I ordered today, due to summer shut down, I'm looking at the earliest pickup (deilivery there) in sweden is begining of Oct. I have to make full payment of the car 1 month prior to that date. Which means I would be making the first payment about the same time I see the car for the first time, in sweden.

Worse news... it would then take 8-10 weeks to recieve the car in michigan after my test drive around in sweden. So I would be making 3-4 payments on a car I've only test drove.

Not too mention not having it and being forced to drive a loaner from either my bud (truck) or mom (her fusion that she barely drives).

I have a dealership looking for cars around with what I want. Then maybe see if they want to deal on price. I would like to at the least get the 3.4% off I could get with overseas delivery.

Well the new 2012 C30 is coming with a few new options and the packages are setup differently. But in any effect, Saturday, I ordered the new one. Due to timing I just went with a altered to my preference "coming dealer stock" R-design. This saved huge time. Overseas delivery was looking like turkey day for me to have it here. Where this way, I'm looking at mid-september.

I ordered it completely loaded with everything but an auto (want a stick), and BLIS (blind spot monitor junk).

Got it in the dark grey, with grey/black leather. I am waiting for an email to be sent to myself so i can possibly link it here.

Here's a video of the orange version and being there aren't any 2012's, I wonder about their title.
