Honda shadow, I ve put many thousands of miles on an old one that I used to run on. I would love to have one again.

But back in jan the price on street glide from kuwait was something rediculous in the range of 15k, with no other fees or taxes added

Gas, I was at the dealer yesterday and saw a 36,000 dollar UC. WTF? That was a pricey bike...but was damn good looking.

That was a CVO version probably with the SE 110 CI motor in it. That is the only version that is more than mine in the HD line. Biggest problem there is that they have been having oil problems and therefor over heating probelms with the 110.

ceo... that is true on both counts!

Time to bore you with some BS Harley junk...

Well I been working on the bikes little by little throughout the week with all this family stuff going on.

I had the Nightster on the lift already to start to bolt up the parts from her 883.

The chrome don't match but got it installed anyway.. a temp gauge

Put on the engine bar and highway pegs

Got the tach put on... it was a 2 trip event because the damn 1200 speedo bucket is part of the riser clamps vs the 883s are seperate pieces. So I just ordered a new riser top clamp to finish the job

The windshield really kills the looks but its function over form

Got the cruiser-mate installed

Pulled the front fork reflectors

Smoked out the front blinkers... looks great with the black pods

Then I ordered some 1157 red bulbs on ebay cause I wanted to smoke out the rears... but HD don't sell red 1157's. Also pulled the reflector off the rear fender.

Then I finished up some stuff on the "Street Classic".

During my few trips to the dealer I decided I wanted to pick up a few things to dress it up.

I picked up the Willie G skull pieces for the gas cap, timing cover, and derby cover

Then worked on the final pieces... I tell ya while HD directions are far superior to many others... this particular mod was complete choas in the directions. I ended up just looking at the parts and pictures and did it on my own.

Pulled the map pocket, liner, tourpack, saddlebags, and seat all out/off.

What was left....

Then I installed the 2 new fender strut covers, and the quick disconnect adapters. Also the new lisence plate mount

Slid the new trunk mount onto the bike

And the bike is back to normal

But now its detachable... YEA

I'm very happy the way it all turned out... Can't wait to get some miles in now that the family stuff is calming down and hopefully the weather starts to get better.
