If I have no choice but to ride straight through, then it's 9 1/2 hours of mostly interstate. Map of the quick route. If I want to add in WV and VA interstate, then it's more like 12 hours. Map to simply add WV and VA. However, I'm hoping to have the time for a WV and VA run on fun roads which will make the trip more like 16 1/2 hours. If I can do the 16 hour trip, I'd ride to Elkins, WV and camp in the Monongahela National Forest Thurs night, then make it to Big Lynn Lodge Friday late afternoon. My route if I camp in WV
Posting a new thread to find out when everyone actually plans to arrive at the Lodge. Last edited by Captain Morgan; 08-07-2011 at 09:04 PM.. |
