On the flip side my rescue who always had her tail, had to have it amputated several years ago. Something bit it so badly (husband left the door open and they were loose all night) it couldn't be saved. It really changed the way she looks.
Dont forget, often a tail has to be removed for reasons other than just looks. Pits, Rots, Greyhounds, etc. those with "bald" tails sometimes have their tails docked to save on later medical bills. They get excited, and beat their tails constantly against things and this action can create blisters and boils that risk infection, (cant remember the technical term) etc. I'd still rather see animals with everything intact, but having worked in a clinic and dealt with a few infected cases, (EWW), I can see the reasoning, and its much worse for an adult than it is for a pup.

Brinks is too cute GM, even as big as he is you can still see the "puppy" in him. I love that mottled pattern he's got!

So we got a few pics of the boy playin with his giggle ball... its suppose to be just something to bat around but of coarse it fits in his mouth so he puts it there....crazy dog.

You talkin about me?

I talk back

Then a shot of him laying in his kennel when we are away..

And once again he is on the couch...

The other week he spent some time at his Uncle Nasty Nate's. They sent us a few pics while he was there...

Crashed out

Got bone?

Then my niece walked into the kennel and her mom took a pic and called it the new babysitter. Too funny

Last week he got a visit from a buddy. This husky/german shepard mix may end up being his next brother cause his owner (a buddy of mine) is getting a divorce and he may have to get rid of the dog... the dogs got along GREAT.

I know the 2 dogs weren't together long but how did Brinks deal with the greyhound being gone?

I think he missed him. He acted real strange when we came home without Wayne.

I have never saw brinks act so well with another dog as he did with Logan, the husky/sheapard dog.

That's what every person in pets smart says... there is not one person in the store that don't stop us.
