I'm around 50K with one street crash. We got "warm" weather one february and I too out my '77 KZ750 ( 1981? ) and basically washed out the front end in gravel. Sat on the "high side" of the bike into the ditch. Picked it up and went on my way. I did have a few almosts where cages almost got me

I'm glad we're NOT including dirtbike crashes as I rode from age 18 to into my early 30s and crashed way more than I can count.

I would guess I have about 30-40K miles and two good crashes.

This is pretty interesting...

Okay I admit that this poll isn't perfect, but I used the same criteria for all 3 forums that I posted this on.... and all 3 forums had similar patterns - A bell curve, peaking around the 20k miles/crash option... then another spike in the 50k or more option.

Granted the other 2 forums had 60 or more votes and there's only 33 here, but the same general pattern is developing.

Keep voting if you haven't already... but I think I might tweak the formula and the choice selection slightly and post another poll on all 3 forums again and see if the results show the same trend again.

I would guess I had about 40k street miles, when I crashed in 2006. *knock wood* My only crash.

How many street miles do you have under your belt now? Just use your total street milage.

That takes a little bit of the guess work out of it

Over 50K on the street with no crashes - BUT I crash at the track at least once a year, so...
