Yeah like the human race ever had healthcare before 40 years ago. Doofus. Seemed to have survived pretty well before then.

No, we didn't have any healthcare. Think that might have had something to do with people dying at 50? How old are you again? You might want to quit denying the importance of healthcare. I agree with Avatard in that everyone should have some healthcare especially having grown up without any health insurance. I think the medical industry (and it has become big business, not an establishment designed to help people) needs a serious priority adjustment more than we need "free" healthcare (your healthcare is not free if I'm paying for it, it's just free for you.) But no one should have to go without medical treatment, that shit is barbaric.

Um not necessarily true, in several cultures it was typical for the doctor/medicine man to be "state sponsored" and service the community at no charge.

I have not.
I know but damn. How common was it? I guess more than I think with sub standard living, cooking, and meat retention. |

And healthcare should be universal and open to everybody. Cost should be handled by the govt if need be.
But also, nobody should be homeless, without a job, or go hungry. But shit just don't work that way. |

fixed it for you. Has it been health insurance or the cost of it been the improvement? Or, has it been the understanding and availability of antibiotics and antiviral medication? Or, even vaccinations? I mean, we now understand washing your hands and cooking your food is important... refrigeration... these simple things can change whether or not you get sick to begin with.
