Troof. I got one of the only 3 nice bikes in my msf. 2 were brand new yamaha tm200 and the other was a zuk dr200 (250?). I was on a yammie. All the other students had beat to fucking hell cruiser style 125s and 250s, mostly rebels.

Arent those blasts?

It was the MSF class, but at the HD dealer... Wasn't called Rider's Edge...

They were POS for sure... all of them idled at different speeds... seemed to stall frequently (without fucking up the clutch) and maybe one of them really sounded 'right'...

No, some guy and some chick... Irish lady... She was pretty funny... told everyone a story about being run over by a girl, then passing her for the actual test.

All Blasts... perhaps Blasteds would be more appropriate.

Hell yeah... my BIL's little POS had a hole in the side case cover of the motor, I think it didn't even have any oil in it anymore. Many of them had drum brakes. Some clutches didn't work for shit. My problem is that you are holding a student at fault when really the bike is a POS. Then you fail a student when the clutch don't work for shit or the brakes are - nothing/nothing/nothing/lock up.

Like the pile of poop we were on, brakes sucked for the wife, she valted off her's later this day.

I took the class as well just for moral support, but as an expierenced rider with nearly 50k under my belt at this time, I could operate it with no issue, working past the bike's faults.

Usually those Blasts are in good condition, but then again it's usually Rider's Edge.

Congratulations!

It was such a boost in confidence when I passed my MSF course. I got to ride my own bike though... can't imagine what it would have been like to try and pass on one of their POS...

congrats!! great job. when is the scraming Ninja hitting the streets?

My son took the rider's edge, funny he was riding his Ninja 250 to class then playing with a blast at the class. their blasts were in pretty good shape but did have some scuffs from previous classes. Of course they got a few new scuffs from some of the folks in his class. one lady went down hard on her shoulder. locked the front going into a turn when the instructor screamed at her to slow down.

I was trying to drag a knee during my msf course. One of my instuctors was this big Harley rider. He just shook his head and laughed.

A little parking lot action today... she's getting much more comfortable on two wheels and it doesn't hurt that her bike works a hell of a lot better than the MSF bikes... "my bike is WAY better"... fuck yes it is.

After she got tired and wanted a break... I fucked around for a minute:

Congrats! now just remember riding in traffic is nothing like the course... ease in to it... everyone is trying to kill you... regardless what OSP will do to their mom if they succeed
