I got 6 vehicles with plates, the ol lady has vanity plates on the jeep which are is our initials and last name, my camaro is "QUICK 94" the rest aren't vanity plates except my semi street legal KDX 200 which still has the plate my father in law put on it so its my wifes maiden name. (I should change that). I wanted to have the pop up camper plates read "SLEEPS4" but decided it wasn't worth the extra cash, since we only pull it a few times a year. And YES the DMV SUCKS ASS!

Do all your states charge you more for the vanity plate... both at the time of order (to make it) and a extra yearly fee? Michigan does..

IMO

I understand the creation fee. But the yearly fee? WTF Like it makes any difference in the system if your plate is 13A79 or FUKME Its still a string of letters/numbers that once put in, is completely automated.

Yes. A little over 35 the first year. 25 each year after.

I know Illinois does. I cant remember the exact amount though. I remember thinking the initial fee was a bit steep but the yearly fee isn't to bad.

I got EBBS15 on my bike now... think it was like 35 in MS... I don't know how much it'll be to renew... but when that time comes I'll be registering it in Oregon anyhow... so I'll have to get it all over again. oh well
