No funeral till friday. I dont like how his body is just left there at the funeral like a display.

Too bad i cant eat happiness from all the food people are bringing over.

Sorry to hear about this RS. Death sucks, especially when it leaves a half behind. As much as you feel bad for yourself, you feel worse for her.

I couldn't have said this much better. My grandfather passed almost 4 years now. My grandmother (even though surrounded by alot of family in Cleveland) has gotten along well. She is active in church and the small town she lives in. We even got her to a European cruise with us in July. The pain really never does go away, but we forget about it long enough to get on with our lives.

Its food overload those first 3 days. When my dad passed last July, it was unfreakingbelieveable the ammount of food brought. Which unfortunatly is the time when a person in grieving is least likely to want to eat. I was never really "hungry", but if I saw something good roll in I would taste.

I am kinda going through something similar, my gf mom just died last week and its been a rough time for everyone that knew her
