I got it because it keeps cans cold (makes room in my fridge for other shit) and looks fucking cool.

You have issues.
I myself have been trying to get this super cool old soda can vending machine from my father in law. I want it for my garage. So I'm with ya.

Oh and I'll be sure to make caveman pay double.

Of coarse he does. he has to live near me and see how cool I am every day. That is some serious suckage when you aren't cool, like caveman.

As I said more function over form. This works and looks very cool
This would be awesome in the office, or as a producer's desk, btw.

I think one of the reasons I like it so much is that I ran a drive-in movie theater when I was in college and the projectors were manufactured in the 1930's - I couldn't get over the lines and how they weren't just designed for function... They were pleasing to look at as well.

It's back when USA produced that shit and people gave 2 F'in shits about what they produced and did. Things were made with more quality and care.

Exactly. I had a pay phone in my old house because it looked good in the same room as the pool table and Super Mario Bros arcade game. (Cost way too much to get it working properly, though).

I wouldn't mind having one of the 60's-70's era bottle machines, assuming they'd accommodate the larger size Mexican coke bottles.
Failing that, one of the cooler style machines with the bottle opener on the corner would be great.
