No, I've built my own motors but when it's brand new.. yeah I'm paying to have it modded. I've built a 2 stroke race engine for my dirt bike and 2 chevy SB engines in the past.

Hell... to *not* be a wallet tuner these days, you practically need to be a computer programmer or electrical engineer.
(but if you're either of those things, you're likely a wallet tuner anyway )

Wasn't Yenko associated w/ Chevy in some semi-official capacity? At any rate, Yenko had a much better rep than Hennessey. An OEM Camaro will be a much less worse "investment" than a Hennessey Camaro - I can assure you of that.

are you sure, i mean that was 30-35yrs ago.....who knows if Yenko wasn't pulling similar shinanigans back then. you'd think if hennessy was such a crook he wouldn't be doing as well as he is.

he's also developed a high hp GT-R also

hell man its not that difficult. Dont try headers on an nsx though, 18 hour job without a lift. Easy

Other than being a Chevy dealer I don't believe so. Are you possibly thinking of Copo Camaros? Copos were ordered and built from the Chevy factory and they were offered more as a response to what Yenko was doing.
