Is the suspension any better, with the one-series, when driving on stairs?

That's fantastic. You are what professional types call "a go getter".

I'll let you know the next time I decide to drive up or down stairs

Well how will you know it's a good car, if you don't compare it to the Mini?

When he says to use a nutdriver to remove the screws, substitute whacking the plastic shroud with a hammer until it falls apart. When he says to insert the key and turn it to accessory, then use a small screwdriver to release the tab, substitute jam a big flat bladed screwdriver in the lock, whack it repeatedly with the hammer, then turn the crap out of it until the car starts or the lock comes out, at which point you can turn what's inside with the screwdriver anyway.

Or go a couple of blocks off the strip and pay some skel $20.00 to do it for you.
huh interesting, but they always grab a bunch of wires under the dash and try to ignite it that way like in the movies!

I can try on my neighbors car, i know when they are home because they never sit down and stomp constantly above me for hours.

Yeah, that's a movie thing. The actual "professionals" usually just smash the cowling, pry off the lock, and then jam a big screwdriver into the housing to turn it over. Doesn't work with cars that have "smart keys" though.

The wire thing doesn't unlock the steering wheel, but if you just need to drive in a straight line, you're all set.
